where to stay

Take Heed

Winchombe and Cheltenham will be the center of gravity for the weekend. If you choose to stay somewhere that is not listed below, we recommend staying near these villages to ensure proximity to the events and any transportation to events. We suggest arriving in the Cotswolds on Wednesday, September 6 or Thursday, September 7. If you are attending stopping by for the Recovery Brunch, plan to request a late check-out on Sunday, September 10 if you want to depart the Cotswolds that afternoon.

Sudeley Castle Country Cottages

16 quirky self-catering cottages dotted along the edge of Sudeley Castle, only a 5-8 minute walk from the wedding venue and stones throw from town. Cottages can sleep from 3 to 14 people if you wish to stay with your family or friends and are all elegantly furnished.  If you wish to stay here, please contact Grace (@) to arrange your reservation and payment.

Ideal for: Traveling in Groups, Staying 2 days or more

The Lion Inn

The Lion Inn is a 15th century coaching inn which has 8 characterful en-suite bedrooms. Located in the charming and quiet town of Winchcombe, you will find this to be a true 'B&B' feel with just 8 rooms in the hotel. Given the limited availability and a hot destination in the English summer, we would advise to book sooner than later! This hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the wedding venue and located in the heart of Winchcombe.

Ideal for: Nostalgia Lovers, Traveling solo or in a pair, staying less than 2 days

No. 131

For those looking for something a little more 'swanky' and 'urban', we highly recommend this beautiful and luxurious option at No 131. Classic on the outside, contemporary British on the inside. This is where we will host the rehearsal dinner/reception and is a 20 minute drive from Sudeley Castle and 5 minute drive from the Cheltenham Spa train station.

Ideal for: Luxury Lovers, want to be in more lively area
