The most convenient airports are London Heathrow (LHR) and London Gatwick (LGW), both offering a variety of transportation options to get to the Cotswolds (Cheltenham and Winchcombe), including National Rail, car transfer/taxi service, or rental car options.

Birmingham Airport (BHX) or Bristol Airport (BRS) are two great options for those flying within the UK and Europe.

​

Don’t forget to check that your passports are up to date well ahead of your departure!

If traveling directly to the Cotswolds from Heathrow/Gatwick, the quickest way is via car transfer service and is approximately a 1.5 hour drive. Here are a few preferred options:

Please note

  • The closest train station to our venue is Cheltenham Spa Station, located conveniently in Cheltenham town center and a 20-minute drive from Winchcombe. Once at Cheltenham Spa station, you can get a Taxi from the Taxi stand or via the Uber app.

If you're planning to see the Cotswolds or other parts of the UK at your own pace, then renting a car may be the right option for you! All major airports in the UK will offer a variety of car rental options. For our American guests - don't forget that our British counterparts drive on the opposite side of the road and usually with a stick shift!

Please Note

  • We only recommend renting a car for guests who are keen on exploring other parts of the Cotswolds. All of our wedding activities will be within a 15-20 minute drive, and are easily accessible via Taxis.

  • American visitors: You will be able to drive on your American license, but please be sure to check if your insurance is valid when driving in the U.K.
